Andrew Venter is the founder and director of Andrew Venter Attorneys, which he established in March 2021. His career in insolvency began while he was still at school, working during school holidays at an insolvency firm. He later continued working at the firm while completing his law degree through the University of South Africa. After 11 years with the firm, he joined another insolvency practice as an attorney before establishing his own firm. Andrew also holds a Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice from the University of Pretoria, which he obtained with distinction. Having worked in insolvency throughout his professional career, Andrew has gained experience across a wide range of businesses and industries. This has developed his keen interest in how different businesses operate, the challenges they face and the commercial realities that shape them. Outside the office, Andrew is a dedicated father of two boys and particularly enjoys the early-morning school run, soaking up their infectious energy. He is also an avid sportsman and sports supporter who enjoys exploring South Africa, spending time outdoors and having a good braai in new and wonderful places.
